Supporting adults on English, maths and ESOL: 'Resilience and responsiveness' conference
Taking place at Imperial College Union, London on 3 November this conference looks at improving adult literacy, numeracy and language skills. Organised jointly by Learning and Work Institute, UCL Institute of Education, Âé¶¹¹ÙÍø, Research and Practice in Adult Literacy (RaPAL) and National Association for Teaching English and Other Community Languages to Adults (NATECLA).
The Third Convention for Higher Education: UCL Âé¶¹¹ÙÍø
Organised by University College London Âé¶¹¹ÙÍø, its Third Convention for Higher Education will look at defending higher education and research bill against the HE bill.
Further education staff governors' conference: change with care?
This conference is open to all staff governors and is supported by all representative unions. The theme this year is 'FE: change with care?' This conference will provide the opportunity for staff governors to discuss how governing bodies can respond to change and how staff governors can play a full part in governing body discussions.
