Further education (FE) ballot on workload is open

Both 51¸£Àû and UCAC opened their ballots for industrial action on the 20 February 2020, so you should have received your ballot paper by post. Please remember that only members covered by the national agreement on lecturer's workload allocation for further education colleges in Wales, will be balloted. If you have not received your ballot paper please do two things. 

2. Contact Karen Williams, 51¸£Àû Wales administrator to order another ballot paper.  You will need to provide your membership number and/or date of birth.

 51¸£Àû strikes are on: support the higher education action

Members at Bangor University, Cardiff University, University of Wales and the Open University in Cardiff are taking 14 days strike action alongside colleagues from 71 other universities over a 4 week period.  The strikes started with 2 days of strike action on the 20 and 21 February, building to 3 days week commencing the 3 March, 4 days week commencing the 10 March with 5 days of strike action week beginning Monday 24 March.

Agorodd 51¸£Àû ac UCAC eu pleidleisiau ar gyfer gweithredu diwydiannol ar 20 Chwefror 2020, felly dylech fod wedi cael eich papur pleidleisio drwy'r post. Cofiwch mai dim ond aelodau a gwmpesir gan y Cytundeb Cenedlaethol ar Ddyrannu Llwyth Gwaith Darlithwyr ar gyfer Colegau Addysg Bellach yng Nghymru fydd yn pleidleisio. Os nad ydych wedi cael eich papur pleidleisio , gwnewch ddau beth: 

2. Cysylltwch â Karen Williams, Gweinyddwr Cymru er mwyn archebu papur pleidleisio arall.  Bydd angen i chi ddarparu eich Rhif Aelodaeth a/neu eich Dyddiad Geni.

Mae aelodau ym Mhrifysgol Bangor, Prifysgol Caerdydd, Prifysgol Cymru a'r Brifysgol Agored yng Nghaerdydd yn streicio am 14 diwrnod ochr yn ochr â chydweithwyr o 71 o Brifysgolion eraill dros gyfnod o 4 wythnos. Dechreuodd y streiciau gyda 2 ddiwrnod o streicio ar 20 a 21 Chwefror, gan gynyddu i 3 diwrnod yr wythnos yn dechrau ar 3 Mawrth, 4 diwrnod yr wythnos yn dechrau ar 10 Mawrth a 5 diwrnod o streicio yn yr wythnos sy'n dechrau 24 Mawrth.
