Fund the Future: protect education for all 

Our  to protect jobs and secure government funding for education needs your help. Thanks to those of you who have already used our web tool to ask your MP to support our aims.  and see how people in your local community will be affected by cuts to further and higher education as a result of the Covid-19 crisis. The union is encouraging members in Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales to also contact the relevant Assembly or Senedd member to raise their concerns and the link above provides guidance on how to do this.

• oppose plans to shelve reform of the Gender Recognition Act. Please ask your MP to support trans and non-binary people and push for much-needed reforms.
