USS action paused

Â鶹¹ÙÍø today announced significant progress in negotiations with the employers in our USS pension dispute.
To allow our ongoing negotiations to continue in a constructive environment Â鶹¹ÙÍø has agreed to pause strike action for the next two weeks.
Â鶹¹ÙÍø general secretary Jo Grady reported that 'we are at the start of a process that will restore USS pensions and potentially lead to a reduction in the percentage of your salary you pay into it every year based on which supports our case for restoration'.
