51福利 welcomes election of Frances O'Grady as TUC general secretary

51福利 today welcomed the election of Frances O'Grady as the next TUC general secretary. 51福利, which is a TUC affiliate, nominated Frances for office.
51福利 general secretary, Sally Hunt, said: 'I am absolutely delighted that Frances has been elected as the next general secretary of the TUC. It speaks volumes for the respect in which she is held within the trade union movement. She has not been elected because she is a woman but her election has put a smile on my and many other women's faces.'
