Edinburgh 51福利 has been raising its profile and increasing its membership by producing regular branch newsletters using newsletter templates available here over on the branch toolkit page.

The templates make it very easy to produce newsletters and the guide to content is very helpful. Distributing newsletters provides an opportunity to talk to colleagues either about joining 51福利 or getting more involved. As well as personally handing out the newsletter, they are also put in pigeon holes and displayed on notice boards.

Although members are sent an electronic version of the newsletter, many like to read a paper copy. The branch intends producing newsletters every 3 months that cover key local issues. They are also used to publicise their general meetings.  The newsletter templates are available as one-side and two-sides of A4.
