Negotiations progress

51福利 general secretary Sally Hunt has updated members on progress made during talks with the employers at conciliation service Acas.

She writes to members:

' Attached is the agreement [207kb] reached between 51福利 and UUK under the auspices of Acas following 6 days of talks.

51福利's higher education committee and branch representatives will meet tomorrow to consider its contents.

For the avoidance of doubt, tomorrow's strike remains on.
