Keeping strong on the picket lines

Â鶹¹ÙÍø general secretary Sally Hunt reports that picket line action is remaining strong as the strike action ends its thirteenth day.

She writes to members:

'Dear colleague

It has been another strong day out on the picket lines, and both students and the wider public around the UK have continued to support us.

on the Streatham Campus picket tomorrow, and for security in retirement and fresh negotiations.

Â鶹¹ÙÍø members have launched a petition calling the UK Government to guarantee the USS pension scheme. - and sharing it with friends and colleagues.

We would also appreciate support for Durham Â鶹¹ÙÍø who, as I mentioned in yesterday's message, are supporting

Your actions continue to make a real difference - if you can, attend the picket line tomorrow and maintain the pressure on employers.
